This is a joint idea devised by Alex Cavanaugh and Matthew MacNish, the idea being to introduce everyone to everyone else. Nothing too difficult, just some 'blogger love' to meet and follow as many other bloggers as possible. All I have to do is list, briefly describe, and link to three blogs that I enjoy reading. All you have to do is follow me, then go and visit and follow them. Easy :)
Holly is hilarious! (I like alliteration so this also makes me happy, in fact, she could have that adjective too and then be 'Hilarious Happy Holly' although I'm not sure she would appreciate this moniker!) I frequently laugh out loud at her blogs. She posted one recently about dating a younger man and being referred to as "this Cougar I'm talking to ..." and it was not only fascinating but really funny.
Janine is one of my Writing Mamas and is not only funny, but smart. She writes about preemies (she had twins 3 months early) in one blog, and her writing and life in general in another. She keeps it short and sweet (great for my small brain and attention span) and I am awed by her ability to keep her writing so disciplined while bringing up 2 small babies. She is on this year's Litquake panel and helps edit our Writing Mamas site every so often. Her blog is definitely worth a visit.
A memoir writer like myself, East Bay Writer is funny, honest and her posts are kinda random. I like them. We are critique buddies so I am getting to know her even better. She often promotes other people's blogs and I think she could do with a shout-out. Here is what she says about herself: I’m a child of the early seventies – which means as far as music goes, I’m a child of the eighties – hopelessly addicted to the synthesized, hair band era.
