Meditation May - Day 2

Well, I had slightly more success than the day before. Firstly, I remembered to take a lighter for my candle. Secondly, I didn't itch as much. And thirdly, my mind didn't wander quite as much because I decided to listen to a guided Mark Romero meditation this time and it helped me to concentrate better.

However, about 10 minutes in, the stupid phone rang again!  Arrrrghhh! Nothing for hours, except when I'm trying to sodding well meditate. Gggrrrr anyone would think I was working or something ... oh, I am meant to be working. Oh well.

I have been feeling really tired though. Really really tired. In fact, I'm more tired than a tired thing. Sometimes meditation gives me a boost and I feel all energised afterwards. This week I am completely and utterly knackered. I have to crawl out of bed when the alarm shatters my dreams at 5am. Maybe I'm going down with some bug or maybe April's A-Z Challenge just took it out of me.

Whichever - I am going to stop waffling and go and crash on the sofa with my patient and loving hubby and watch a bit of Game of Thrones. I started off hating Tyrion Lannister, but I have to admit to liking him now. He gets my vote for King. And I'm definitely going to get an early night.

How did you lot get on today? Success? Failure? Drive off the road? (Did I forget to mention it's dangerous to meditate whilst driving.)

    1. Yep 10 mins better than 0 mins. Think we should start the midget fanclub!

  2. So many distractions! I'm sure we'll be able to block them out by the end of 30 days, though. And seriously, who calls at 6:00 in the morning!

    1. I know, 6am! Except it's a nationwide program I'm working on so Eastcoast time is 9am. Still, damned unsociable not to know it's 6am for me!

  3. Tyrion is my favorite character! Although John Snow is a close second.

Interesting story is that my friend has been going to a meditation expert (psychiatrist I assume?), and says it's the best he's felt since leaving the army.

Anyway, good luck in yet another challenge!

  4. Tyrion is one of my favorite characters in the books and Peter Dinklage does a great job in portraying him. My vote for King of the Iron Throne is John Snow. The Queen should be Daenerys. I hope it ends up that way.

  6. Blame that damn A-Z Challenge from hell, I am! Hahaha.. Seriously tho, some days with mediation are just easier than others. Such is life and you may very well be coming down with something. Cut yourself some slack and try again tomorrow. It's all any of us can do, right? Keep on keepin' on Mizz Claire! :)
