Thank you for making me a winner!

I can't believe it - I won 4th place in the People's Choice Award in the first Campaign Challenge! I won actual prizes, three of them in fact. Wow. Just want to thank all my husband, my kids, my family, my friends, my supporters, my cats, the kids next door ........ ha ha ...... but I do actually want to thank all you guys that voted for me (and no, it wasn't just my Mum!). I am so thrilled to win something, especially as this was my first ever attempt at flash fiction, written quickly, in a bit of a panic, up against the deadline, late at night when I really just wanted to go and watch the telly! (Note to self: think about writing my memoir in similar fashion.)

Please take a few mins and congratulate the other winners of this Challenge. Gosh there are quite a few too, with lots of lovely prizes. I also want to recognise Rachael Harrie, Michael Offutt and their fabulous helpers for all their amazing hard work in coordinating everything. Quite a task with 384 entries.

For those of you who haven't got time to look to Rachael's blog now, these are my prizes:

  1. A 5-page critique by Jessica Aspen (contest judge and coodinator for CRW's AOE 2012 published author awards)
  2. Either a copy of Laura Pepper Wu's book WOW! GLOWING BRIDE IN 30 DAYS or a $10 Kindle giftcard sponsored by LadiesWhoCritique.com
  3. An eBook version of her debut novel, Purple Knot, donated by Raquel Byrnes
